Our Story
Catherine and Noah met in the Summer of 2019 and have spent the last seven years growing together. At age seventeen, they attended rival high schools, not knowing where their senior year—and the years that followed—would take them.
Over the years, they’ve had the chance to cheer for the same team while spending all four years together at NC State. (Go Pack!) Together, they gained more than just their degrees. Not only did they meet some of their closest friends, many of whom will be standing beside them on their wedding day, they also began building their lives together. Whether they’re tailgating at Carter-Finley, rewatching the Harry Potter movies, or exploring new places with friends and family, Catherine and Noah’s favorite thing has always been simply being each other’s best friend.
Now at age twenty-four, their love has taken them from Greece to Ireland and to France, along with countless trips to the North Carolina Crystal Coast—an area that holds a special place in their heart. They’ve celebrated every anniversary together there over the last seven years, making it a meaningful part of their story.
On February 7, 2026, Noah proposed at Atlantic Beach just after an unexpected snowstorm blanketed the coast the week before. With the help of their closest friends, Noah planned a surprise proposal following a day at the Aquarium. He asked Catherine to marry him at the very coastline they have cherished throughout their relationship.
